Propeller blades for the MPS NordFriesland

AMW designed and supplied new propeller blades for a LIPS CPP installation from 1995 using 3D scanning and back reverse engineering.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

AMW has renewed the profiles and made new strength calculations for DNV GL class.

The CPPs are suitable for a power of 1020 kW, the sailing speed of the NordFriesland is 11 knots.

The diameter of the CPP installation is 1400 mm, the CPP screws are mounted in nozzles.
