CPP Pitched propeller

AMW designed and supplied new propeller blades for a LIPS CPP installation from 1995 using 3D scanning and back reverse engineering.

AMW has renewed the profiles and made new strength calculations for DNV GL class. A starboard and port blade were scanned and the drawings were made for DNV GL class through reverse engineering.

The CPPs are suitable for a power of 1020 kW, the sailing speed of the NordFriesland is 11 knots. The diameter of the CPP installation is 1400 mm, the CPP screws are mounted in nozzles.
