Own Testing Setup
All generators produced by our company undergo a comprehensive program of functionality testing. We have the following testing facilities in our own testing setup:
- Test benches 1 and 2 are each designed as test benches for natural gas generators with a capacity of 1 and 2 MW. The generators can be tested with a simulated ambient temperature at 50/60 Hz low voltage and medium voltage up to 11 kV. The test benches are equipped with a heat recovery module, demonstrating customer heat acceptance during the test run.
- Test benches 3 to 6 are each designed as diesel generator test benches with a capacity of 2 MW. The generators can be tested with a simulated ambient temperature at 50/60 Hz low voltage and medium voltage up to 11 kV. The test benches are equipped with a heat recovery module, allowing the customer to demonstrate heat dissipation during the test run or to remove the engine’s residual heat through heat exchangers.
- Test benches 7 and 8 are designed as a combination of gas and diesel generator test benches, each with a capacity of up to 4 MW. The generator sets can be tested with a simulated ambient temperature at 50/60 Hz low voltage and medium voltage up to 11 kV. The test benches are equipped with a heat recovery module, allowing the customer to demonstrate heat consumption during the test run or to remove the engine’s residual heat through heat exchangers. These two test benches are particularly large, allowing the testing of units with all accessories such as the table cooler. Furthermore, a separate water brake for engine revision or our ship main propulsion engines is available. A special highlight is that all test benches are equipped with a water connection for testing pump drives with a water volume flow of 500 m³/h at 100 bar. All test benches are equipped with video surveillance and designed for unmanned use. All test benches are centrally monitored and controlled from our control room. All data is electronically recorded and logged using the latest measurement technology.
